Possible Causes

Clogged injector needle, Scale blockage in thermoblock, Partially blocked flow meter, Blocked outlet in capsule holder

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Allow the machine to cool before cleaning. Unplug when removing parts.

  • Clean injector needle: Remove the capsule holder. Locate the fine needle in the head and carefully insert the supplied cleaning tool or a very fine pin to clear coffee residues. Do not bend the needle.
  • Rinse capsule holder: Soak the capsule holder in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry.
  • Run water without capsule: Refit the holder (no capsule), fill the tank, and run hot water for 30–60 seconds to flush the system.
  • Descale: If flow is still weak, perform a full descaling cycle to remove internal limescale.

If, after cleaning and descaling, the flow remains very weak, the thermoblock or flow meter may be internally obstructed and require replacement.
