Possible Causes
Moderate limescale buildup in thermoblock, Partially clogged injector needle, Scale in flow meter, Scale in water inlet valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Allow the machine to cool before descaling. Unplug when filling or removing the water tank.
Quick descale:
- Prepare descaler: Mix descaling solution with water in the tank as per instructions.
- No capsule: Ensure no capsule is inserted; close the locking handle.
- Run solution: Place a container under the spout. Run about 1/3 of the tank on hot, then pause for 2–3 minutes. Repeat until the tank is empty.
- Rinse thoroughly: Rinse the tank, refill with clean water, and run at least one full tank through (hot and cold) to remove any residue.
After descaling, the light should return to green. If the orange/yellow light remains or flow is still weak, the flow meter or thermoblock may need professional cleaning or replacement.
