Possible Causes

Cracked internal silicone hose, Loose hose clamp at pump or thermoblock, Cracked water tank or tank outlet, Faulty leak sensor or float switch in base

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the machine immediately if you see water under or inside the unit. Water near live parts is dangerous.

External inspection:

  • Remove and empty the drip tray and used capsule container; clean and dry them.
  • Inspect the water tank for cracks, especially around the outlet valve; replace if damaged.
  • Dry the area under the machine and run a short rinse cycle while watching for external leaks.

Internal inspection:

  • Remove the housing to access internal hoses and the leak tray or base pan.
  • Look for water trails or mineral deposits on hoses, pump, and thermoblock connections.
  • Tighten or replace any loose hose clamps. Replace cracked silicone hoses.
  • If your model has a leak sensor or float switch in the base, ensure it moves freely and is not stuck in the "wet" position. Dry the base thoroughly.

After repairs, reassemble and test with the machine on a dry paper towel to confirm no further leaks. If leaks persist from the thermoblock body or molded manifolds, those assemblies must be replaced.
