Milk frother heats but does not froth (no foam)

Possible Causes

Missing or worn whisk, Magnetic drive not engaging, Milk type unsuitable (too low fat), Dirty frother interior

User checks:

Ensure the whisk is installed and not worn or damaged.
Clean the frother interior thoroughly, including the bottom where the magnet engages.
Use fresh, cold milk with adequate fat content (typically 2% or whole milk froths best).

If the whisk repeatedly disengages or does not spin, replace the whisk or the frother jug if the magnetic coupling is worn.
