Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool.
Descale thoroughly:
- Fill the reservoir with a vinegar-water solution (1:1) or descaler.
- Plug in and attempt to start a CLEAN or small brew cycle.
- If water does not move at all, stop and unplug immediately.
Prime the pump:
- Remove and refill the reservoir, then firmly reseat it.
- Gently tap the side of the machine near the base to help dislodge air bubbles.
- Try a small water-only brew again.
If E03 persists and the pump is not moving water, the internal pump or flow sensor likely needs replacement. This requires disassembly and should be done by a professional.
