Possible Causes

Clogged internal water line, Failed flow sensor, Weak or seized water pump, Severe limescale buildup in boiler

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool.

Descale thoroughly:

  • Fill the reservoir with a vinegar-water solution (1:1) or descaler.
  • Plug in and attempt to start a CLEAN or small brew cycle.
  • If water does not move at all, stop and unplug immediately.

Prime the pump:

  • Remove and refill the reservoir, then firmly reseat it.
  • Gently tap the side of the machine near the base to help dislodge air bubbles.
  • Try a small water-only brew again.

If E03 persists and the pump is not moving water, the internal pump or flow sensor likely needs replacement. This requires disassembly and should be done by a professional.
