Possible Causes

Incorrect clock or program settings, AM/PM mis-set, Faulty program memory in control board, Stuck or unresponsive AUTO button

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Verify settings:

  • Set the correct time on the clock, paying attention to AM/PM if applicable.
  • Reprogram the auto-brew time following the Oster manual, ensuring the AUTO or PROGRAM indicator lights.

Test:

  • Set the auto-brew time a few minutes ahead of the current time and observe whether the unit starts.

Button function:

  • Press the AUTO/PROGRAM button several times to ensure it is not stuck.

If manual brewing works but auto-brew never starts despite correct programming, the control board or keypad may be faulty and require replacement.
