Possible Causes
Air pockets in heating tube, Limescale causing uneven boiling, Low water level during brew, Loose internal components vibrating
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Check water level:
- Always fill the reservoir to at least the minimum level before brewing.
Descale:
- Run a full descaling cycle with vinegar and water to remove scale that can cause noisy boiling.
Bleed air:
- After descaling, run 1–2 full reservoirs of plain water to flush air and debris.
Internal inspection (advanced):
- Remove the bottom cover and ensure the heating tube and hoses are securely mounted and not rattling against the housing.
Some gurgling is normal, but very loud or new noises after cleaning may indicate a failing heating element or loose components.
