How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before any disassembly.
Soft reset:
- Unplug the unit for at least 10 minutes.
- Press and hold the main power or brew button for 10 seconds while unplugged to help discharge capacitors.
- Plug back in and test.
Check for stuck buttons:
- Press each button several times to ensure none are physically stuck or jammed.
- Wipe the control panel with a slightly damp cloth to remove sticky residue, then dry thoroughly.
Power quality:
- Try a different outlet, preferably one not shared with high-load appliances.
If ERR persists, the main control board or keypad membrane is likely defective and may need replacement.
