Possible Causes

Severe limescale blockage in aluminum heating tube, Clogged inlet screen at reservoir, Blocked one-way valve, Failed heating element not boiling water

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug and allow the unit to cool before descaling or opening.

Descale aggressively:

  • Fill the reservoir with a 1:1 mixture of white vinegar and water.
  • Start a brew cycle and listen for boiling or gurgling. If little or no water flows, stop the cycle after a minute.
  • Let the unit sit for 30–45 minutes to allow the vinegar to dissolve internal scale.
  • Restart the brew cycle and see if flow improves. Repeat if necessary.

Check reservoir and inlet:

  • Remove the reservoir and inspect the outlet for debris. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Inspect the inlet screen or grommet on the coffee maker body and clean any buildup.

Internal inspection (advanced):

  • Remove the bottom cover to access the aluminum heating tube and silicone hoses.
  • Check hoses for kinks or blockages and the one-way valve for proper operation.
  • If the heating element does not warm at all, test it for continuity; replace if open.
