Possible Causes
Vibration pump mounting grommets worn or missing, Air in pump causing cavitation, Loose internal panels or screws, Scale buildup causing pump strain
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep hands away from the underside and interior of the unit while it is operating.
- Check placement: Ensure the coffee maker is on a solid, level surface. Thin countertops or cutting boards can amplify vibration noise.
- Bleed air from system: Fill the reservoir to MAX and run 1–2 full water‑only brew cycles to purge air from the pump and lines.
- Descale: Run a descale cycle to reduce strain on the pump from mineral deposits.
- Inspect externally: Gently press on the sides and top of the housing during brewing to see if the noise changes, indicating a loose panel. If so, unplug the unit and check for accessible screws that may be tightened (only external ones).
- Internal mounts: If noise remains excessive, the internal pump mounts or brackets may be worn and require professional replacement.
