How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure good ventilation when first using a new appliance.
- Initial cleaning: Before first use, wash the water tank, carafe, and filter basket with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
- Run rinse cycles: Run 2–3 full tanks of plain water through the machine and discard the water.
- Avoid harsh chemicals: Do not use bleach or strong solvents inside the coffee maker. If used previously, run multiple rinse cycles.
- Inspect warming plate: Remove any stickers, plastic films, or packaging remnants from the plate and underside of the unit.
