How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker.

Dry the panel: If the panel was recently cleaned or exposed to steam, allow the unit to dry for 24 hours in a warm, dry location.
Avoid harsh cleaners: Clean the panel only with a slightly damp soft cloth. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
Check for stuck buttons: Gently press each button to ensure it moves freely and is not physically stuck.
Inspect ribbon cable (advanced): If you can safely access the control board, check that the keypad ribbon cable is fully seated and not corroded.
Replace panel if needed: Persistent E05 usually indicates a failed keypad or touch panel, which should be replaced as an assembly.

Display shows E05; machine may not respond to button presses or may freeze.
