Low Brew Temperature
Coffee temperature is too low even when the highest temperature setting is selected.

Possible Causes
Scaled thermoblock, Faulty temperature sensor, Incorrect temperature setting, Cold cups or environment
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before internal work; external steps can be done with the machine on.
- Check settings: Ensure the temperature is set to high in the machine menu (if available on your Philips model).
- Preheat cups: Rinse cups with hot water before brewing. Cold porcelain can significantly lower drink temperature.
- Descale: Run a full descaling cycle. Scale on the thermoblock reduces heat transfer and lowers brew temperature.
- Run a few blank shots: Brew hot water (without coffee) to preheat the internal circuit before making coffee.
If coffee remains consistently lukewarm, the NTC sensor or thermoblock may be faulty and should be checked by a service technician.
