How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Follow descaling instructions exactly; do not bypass safety steps.
- Repeat descaling: Run the full descaling program again, ensuring you follow each step and do not interrupt the cycle.
- Use correct descaler: Use Philips/Saeco branded descaler. Vinegar or other agents can foam and interfere with sensors.
- Check flow: Ensure water flows steadily during descaling. If flow is weak, there may still be blockages.
- Power reset: After descaling, unplug the machine for 5–10 minutes, then plug it back in to force a reset.
If the message persists, the flow meter or control board may not be registering the cycle correctly and may need service.
