Possible Causes

Leaking O-rings on brew unit outlet, Cracked hydraulic connector, Faulty overpressure valve, Loose silicone hose clamp

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the machine and let it cool. Water and electricity are a dangerous combination.

  • Inspect external leaks: Check around the water tank, drip tray, and coffee spout for visible leaks. Ensure the water tank is seated correctly and not cracked.
  • Check brew group outlet: Remove the brew group and inspect the outlet where water enters the group. The O-rings on the outlet spout can flatten or crack. Replace them with Philips-compatible O-rings and apply a thin layer of food-grade silicone grease.
  • Inspect internal hoses (advanced): Remove the side panel to inspect silicone hoses and plastic connectors. Look for water traces, white scale marks, or loose clamps. Tighten or replace clamps and replace any cracked connectors.
  • Descale: Heavy scale can cause overpressure and trigger safety valves, leading to leaks. Run a full descaling cycle.

If E07 continues or you see significant internal leakage, stop using the machine and seek professional repair to avoid damage to the electronics.
