Possible Causes
Loose ribbon cable to control board, Moisture on control panel, Failed touch panel, Control board communication fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before opening the housing.
- Power reset: Unplug the machine for at least 10 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge, then plug it back in and test.
- Dry the panel: If the panel has been exposed to steam or cleaning fluids, leave the machine unplugged in a dry, warm room for several hours to allow moisture to evaporate. Do not use a hair dryer on high heat.
- Check connections (advanced): Remove the top cover and inspect the flat ribbon cable between the display/touch panel and the main PCB. Reseat the connectors carefully.
If E11 remains, the user interface board or main PCB may need replacement. This is an advanced repair; consult a Philips service center.
