Possible Causes
Stuck float in drip tray, Dirty float magnet, Faulty reed switch or sensor, Misaligned drip tray
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before inspecting the tray sensor.
- Clean drip tray: Remove the tray, separate all parts, and wash thoroughly. Ensure the float moves freely.
- Check magnet: Some trays use a magnet in the float. If the float is cracked or the magnet missing, replace the tray.
- Clean sensor area: Wipe the area under the tray where the sensor is located.
- Reinsert tray: Push the tray fully into place to ensure proper alignment.
If the warning remains, the internal sensor may be defective and require replacement.
