Permanent mesh filter (if equipped) allows coffee grounds into the brewed coffee.

Safety first: Allow the unit to cool before handling the filter.

• Inspect mesh: Hold the filter up to light and look for tears or large openings. Replace if damaged.
• Seat properly: Ensure the filter sits flat in the brew basket and is not tilted.
• Adjust grind and fill: Use a medium grind and do not exceed the maximum fill line on the filter.
• Optional paper filter: Use a paper filter inside the mesh filter for additional filtration if desired.
