Safety: Steam and hot water can cause burns. Allow the machine to cool before touching boiler components.

Identify source: Listen carefully to locate whether the noise comes from the vacuum breaker, safety valve, or boiler shell.
Clean vacuum breaker: Remove and clean the vacuum breaker valve; replace if it sticks or leaks steam continuously.
Check safety valve: If steam is venting from the safety valve during normal operation, the boiler may be over‑pressurizing. Do not adjust the safety valve; instead, check and adjust/replace the pressurestat or pressure sensor.
Descale boiler: Perform a descaling procedure to remove scale from the heating element and internal surfaces, which can reduce noise.
