Possible Causes

Completely clogged steam tip, Blocked steam valve outlet, Scale blockage in steam pipe, Closed or failed steam solenoid (if equipped)

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off, unplug, and release pressure before disassembly.

  • Remove and clean tip: Unscrew the steam tip and check for blockage. Clean as described previously.
  • Check valve operation: With the machine off and cool, open the steam knob and blow gently through the wand (from tip end) to feel for airflow. No airflow suggests a blocked valve.
  • Disassemble steam valve: Remove the valve body, clean internal passages with descaler, and replace any damaged seals.
  • Steam solenoid (if present): For models with an electrically actuated steam solenoid, test the coil for continuity and ensure it clicks when energized. Replace if faulty.
