Possible Causes
Failed magnetic float in reservoir, Faulty tank level reed switch, Misaligned tank magnet and sensor, Dirty or scaled tank level sensor area
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the machine off and unplug it before removing the reservoir or accessing internal sensors.
- Inspect reservoir float: Remove the water tank and look for the small magnetic float. Ensure it moves freely up and down. If it is stuck, clean the tank thoroughly.
- Check magnet position: Some Rocket tanks use a magnet embedded in the float. Verify it is still present and not waterlogged or detached.
- Clean sensor area: Wipe the area of the chassis where the tank sits, especially near the level sensor window. Mineral deposits can interfere with detection.
- Test with gentle movement: Reinstall the tank and gently lift it up and down while the machine is on. If the error flickers, the reed switch or wiring may be intermittent.
- Replace faulty components: If the float is damaged, replace the reservoir or float assembly. If the reed switch is faulty, it must be replaced from inside the machine.
