Possible Causes
Faulty brew switch or button, Broken wiring harness to front panel, Failed low-voltage supply to controls, Stuck microswitch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before removing the front panel or touching internal wiring.
- Test individual controls: Try each switch (brew, steam, hot water) to see if any respond. Note which functions are dead.
- Inspect wiring: Remove the front panel and check the harness connections to each switch or button. Reseat loose connectors.
- Check switches: Use a multimeter to test continuity of suspect switches when operated. Replace any that do not make reliable contact.
- Control voltage: If all switches are unresponsive, the low-voltage supply from the control board may have failed and the board may need replacement.
