Steam pressure is low and milk steaming is slow; steam wand output is weak.

Safety first: Turn off and unplug the machine. Allow the boiler to cool and depressurize before removing the steam tip.

• Clean steam tip: Unscrew the steam tip and soak it in descaling solution. Use a fine needle to clear each hole, then rinse thoroughly.
• Check boiler pressure: Observe the pressure gauge during operation. If it is consistently low, the pressurestat or PID setting may need adjustment.
• Descale steam circuit: If the machine has been used with hard water, consider a professional descaling of the steam boiler and lines.
• Test element: If the steam boiler does not heat properly, the heating element may be failing and should be tested and replaced if necessary.
