Possible Causes

Loose boiler fitting, Cracked silicone hose, Leaking pump outlet connection, Failed boiler gasket or vacuum breaker

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the machine and allow it to cool completely. Water inside the chassis can contact live parts.

  • Remove outer panels: Carefully remove the top and side panels to inspect inside. Place towels under the machine.
  • Identify leak source: Fill the reservoir and run the pump briefly while observing. Look for drips at hose connections, boiler fittings, pump, and valves.
  • Tighten fittings: Gently tighten any loose compression or threaded fittings. Do not overtighten brass parts.
  • Replace damaged hoses: If a silicone hose is cracked or hardened, cut a new piece of the same diameter and length and secure with proper clamps.
  • Boiler or vacuum breaker leaks: If the leak is from the boiler seam or vacuum breaker, the gasket or valve likely needs replacement. This is a moderate to advanced repair.
