Coffee maker brews extremely slowly; it takes much longer than usual to fill the carafe.

Safety first: Unplug and allow to cool before descaling.

• Descale: Run a full descaling cycle with a 50/50 vinegar and water solution as per the user manual.
• Clean showerhead: Remove the filter basket and clean the water outlet holes above it with a soft brush or toothpick.
• Check tank outlet: Ensure the tank valve opens fully and is not restricted by debris.
• Repeat descaling if needed: For heavily scaled units, two or three descaling cycles may be required.
