How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before any inspection. Do not attempt live testing unless you are qualified.
- Check outlet: Test the wall socket with another appliance to confirm it supplies power.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. If damaged, the cord must be replaced.
- Check external switch: If your Russell Hobbs model has a physical on/off rocker, ensure it is in the ON position and not loose or wobbly.
- Internal inspection: Remove the base or rear cover (if you are competent) and locate the small fuse on the control PCB. If visibly blown, replace it with the same rating and type only.
