Possible Causes
Severe limescale in aluminum heating tube, Blocked inlet filter in water tank base, Blocked one-way valve, Kinked silicone hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and allow the unit to cool fully before handling.
- Descale thoroughly:
- Fill the tank with a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water.
- Start a brew cycle and let it run until you see some flow or hear boiling.
- Switch off and let the solution sit for 30–40 minutes.
- Restart and complete the cycle, then flush with 2–3 tanks of clean water.
- Check tank outlet: Remove the tank and press the outlet valve to ensure water flows freely.
- Inspect hoses (advanced): With the base removed, check the silicone hoses for kinks or blockages and straighten or replace as needed.
- If still no flow: The aluminum heating tube may be fully blocked and should be replaced.
