Possible Causes
Internal backup capacitor failure, Faulty low-voltage power supply on control PCB, Loose display/control board connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before removing any panels.
- Power reset: Unplug the unit for 10 minutes, then plug back in and reset the clock. Observe whether E7 reappears.
- Check outlet: Ensure the wall outlet is stable and not controlled by a switch that may be cutting power intermittently.
- Inspect control panel: If accessible, remove the top cover to inspect the ribbon cable between the display board and main PCB. Reseat any loose connectors.
- If E7 persists: The internal low-voltage supply or clock circuit on the control PCB is likely defective. Replacement of the control PCB is required and should be done by a qualified technician.
