How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit immediately and allow it to cool. Do not use the coffee maker while it is leaking.
- External check: Confirm the leak is not from an overfilled carafe or spilled water on the top.
- Inspect tank and seals: Remove the water tank and check the outlet seal and valve for cracks or debris. Replace the tank if the outlet is damaged.
- Internal inspection: Remove the base to inspect the silicone hoses and heater connections. Look for white mineral trails or water marks indicating the leak source.
- Tighten or replace: Refit or replace loose hose clamps. Replace any cracked silicone hose or the water tank outlet seal.
- If the heater is cracked: Replace the entire heating element assembly.
