Machine displays 'ADD WATER' even when the tank is full

Safety: Unplug the machine before lifting or tilting.

• Check tank seating:
  • Remove and reseat the water tank firmly.
  • Ensure no debris is preventing full engagement.
• Inspect float:
  • Verify the float in the tank moves freely and rises when the tank is filled.
  • Clean the tank with warm soapy water if the float is sticky.
• Test with another tank (if available): If you have access to a known-good Sage tank, test to rule out a defective float.
• Reed switch (advanced):
  • Locate the reed switch near the tank area inside the machine.
  • Test it with a small magnet; the ADD WATER message should change when the magnet is brought near.
• Repair: Replace the water tank if the float or magnet is defective. Replace the reed switch assembly if it does not respond to a magnet.
