How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the machine before removing the drip tray.
- Clean drip tray:
- Remove the drip tray and empty it completely.
- Clean the tray and the float indicator with warm soapy water.
- Check float movement: Ensure the float moves freely up and down and is not waterlogged.
- Inspect tray area:
- Clean the tray cavity in the machine; remove any coffee grounds or debris.
- Check for a small microswitch or sensor that the tray actuates.
- Reinstall tray: Slide the tray back in fully until it clicks into place.
- Repair: Replace the drip tray if the float is damaged. Replace the drip tray sensor switch if it does not change state when the tray is inserted/removed.
