Grinder runs but no coffee comes out of the chute

Safety: Unplug the machine before working near the grinder.

• Empty hopper: Remove beans and check for clumps or foreign objects.
• Clear chute:
  • Use a small brush to loosen compacted grounds in the grind chute.
  • Vacuum the chute from the portafilter cradle area.
• Adjust grind: Set the grind slightly coarser and test with a small amount of beans.
• Change beans: Try a different, less oily roast to reduce clumping.
• Repair: If blockage recurs frequently, inspect and clean the entire grinder assembly; replace burrs if worn.
