How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the machine before working near the grinder.
- Empty hopper: Remove beans and check for clumps or foreign objects.
- Clear chute:
- Use a small brush to loosen compacted grounds in the grind chute.
- Vacuum the chute from the portafilter cradle area.
- Adjust grind: Set the grind slightly coarser and test with a small amount of beans.
- Change beans: Try a different, less oily roast to reduce clumping.
- Repair: If blockage recurs frequently, inspect and clean the entire grinder assembly; replace burrs if worn.
