Safety: Unplug the machine before any work. Mains voltage is hazardous.

Check outlet: Test the wall socket with another appliance to confirm power.
Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Do not use the machine if the cord is damaged; replace the power cord set.
Try a different outlet: Avoid extension leads and surge protectors during testing.
Internal fuse (advanced):
- Remove the housing and locate the internal mains fuse.
- If blown, investigate for shorts (burnt components, pinched wires) before replacing with the exact same rating.
Repair: Replace the power switch or power supply board if they are not delivering low-voltage power to the control electronics.
