Portafilter is difficult to insert or remove; handle sits too far to the left

Safety: Allow the group head to cool before working.

• Clean gasket area: Remove the shower screen and clean the gasket groove thoroughly.
• Check gasket type: Ensure the installed group head gasket is the correct part number and thickness for your Sage model.
• Bed in new gasket: After installing a new gasket, lock the portafilter in and run a few blank shots to help it seat.
• Inspect portafilter: Replace the portafilter if the ears are bent or deformed.
