• 3. Clean drain valve area: With the brew unit removed, inspect the internal drain valve area (where water dumps into the drip tray). Clean any coffee residues or scale deposits.
• 4. Run a cleaning cycle: Reinstall the brew unit and run a cleaning tablet cycle to flush the brew path and valve.
• 5. Professional service: If E07 continues, the internal drain valve or its actuator may be defective and require disassembly of the hydraulic block. This should be done by a Siemens service center.
