Possible Causes
Scaled thermoblock or boiler, Faulty NTC temperature sensor, Incorrect preheating (cup not warmed), Energy-saving mode reducing temperature
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before descaling if you need to move the machine.
- Preheat cups: Rinse cups with hot water from the machine or use the cup warmer (if equipped) before brewing.
- Disable eco mode: Check settings and turn off or adjust energy-saving modes that lower brew temperature.
- Descale: Perform a full descaling cycle to remove scale from the boiler/thermoblock and temperature sensor surfaces.
- If still lukewarm: The NTC sensor or heater control may be faulty. A technician can test and replace the sensor or thermoblock.
