Possible Causes
Defective vibration pump, Loose or damaged pump wiring harness, Airlock in pump, Blocked pump inlet filter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and let the machine cool before any internal inspection.
- Bleed air from system: Fill the water tank completely, reinstall it, and power the machine ON. Run several hot water cycles (or steam cycles if applicable) to purge air from the pump and lines.
- Check water tank seating: Ensure the tank is fully inserted and the valve at the bottom opens properly when docked. A misaligned tank can starve the pump.
- Listen to pump: If the pump hums loudly but no water flows, there may be an airlock or blockage. Try tilting the machine slightly backward and forward while running a hot water cycle to help dislodge air (keep it stable and safe).
- Inspect pump connections (advanced): Remove the housing (only if competent and after unplugging). Check the vibration pump terminals and wiring harness for loose connections or burnt contacts. Inspect the small inlet filter on the pump for blockage.
- If pump is silent or overheats: The pump coil may be open or shorted. Replacement of the vibration pump is required and is best done by a qualified technician.
