Possible Causes
Jammed grinder burrs with coffee beans, Foreign object in grinder, Burnt-out grinder motor, Faulty grinder motor sensor or wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF and unplug the machine before accessing the bean hopper or grinder area.
- Empty bean hopper: Remove all beans from the hopper. Check for stones or foreign objects mixed with the beans.
- Adjust grind setting: Set the grinder to a slightly coarser setting to reduce load on the motor. Avoid adjusting while the grinder is stopped with beans jammed; instead, run the grinder briefly while adjusting if possible.
- Clean grinder chute: Use the supplied cleaning brush or a small, dry brush to clean the grinder chute and burr area. Do not use water inside the grinder.
- Manual burr rotation (if accessible): With the hopper removed, gently try to rotate the upper burr carrier by hand to free any jam. Do not force it.
- Test again: Refill with fresh, dry beans and test. If the grinder still does not run and E06 reappears, the motor or its sensor may be defective.
- Professional repair: Grinder motor replacement or sensor diagnosis requires disassembly of the upper housing and is best done by a technician.
