Milk froth is poor, with large bubbles or almost no foam.

Safety first: Allow the frother to cool before disassembly.

• Disassemble frother: Remove the milk frother nozzle or carafe lid and separate all parts.
• Clean thoroughly: Soak in warm soapy water and brush all small holes and air inlets. Rinse well.
• Use fresh cold milk: Use refrigerated semi-skimmed or whole milk for best foam. Avoid UHT or lactose-free milk if foam is poor.
• Check air intake: Ensure the small air hole on the frother is not blocked by dried milk.
• Replace gaskets: If the frother still underperforms, replace the small O-rings and gaskets in the frother assembly.
