Display shows ERR or ERROR and the coffee maker will not respond to button presses.

Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before any disassembly. Avoid spraying cleaners directly on the control panel.

• 1. Hard reset
  • Unplug the unit for at least 10 minutes.
  • Press and hold the power or brew button for 10 seconds while unplugged to discharge residual power (if accessible).
  • Plug back in and check if ERR clears.
• 2. Check for stuck buttons
  • Press each button several times to ensure none are stuck or jammed.
  • Wipe the panel with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
• 3. Remove moisture
  • If the panel was exposed to steam or spills, let it dry for 24 hours unplugged in a warm, dry place.
• 4. Inspect internal connections (advanced)
  • Unplug and remove the control panel cover.
  • Reseat the keypad ribbon cable and any sensor connectors on the main PCB.
• 5. Replace control board if needed
  • If ERR persists and all external causes are ruled out, the main control board is likely defective and should be replaced with the correct Sunbeam PCB.
