How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before removing the water reservoir if it is integrated with the filter holder.
- 1. Replace the water filter
- Remove the reservoir and locate the charcoal filter holder (usually clips into the bottom or side).
- Open the holder and discard the old filter cartridge.
- Soak the new Sunbeam-compatible charcoal filter in water for 5–10 minutes, then rinse.
- Install the new filter into the holder and reattach to the reservoir.
- 2. Reset the filter indicator
- Press and hold the FILTER or RESET button for 3–5 seconds until the icon clears.
- 3. Optional: run a rinse cycle
- Fill the reservoir with fresh water and run a brew cycle without coffee to flush the new filter.
