Possible Causes
Blocked steam vent, Damaged lid gasket, Overfilled reservoir, Warped top cover
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Steam can cause serious burns. Do not place your face or hands near vents during brewing. Unplug and allow to cool before inspection.
- 1. Avoid overfilling
- Fill only to the MAX line on the reservoir.
- 2. Clean vents
- Inspect the top cover for steam vents and ensure they are not blocked by dust or grease.
- Clean gently with a soft brush.
- 3. Check lid gasket
- Open the top lid and inspect any rubber gasket around the brew chamber.
- If cracked or deformed, replace the gasket or lid assembly.
- 4. Inspect for warping
- If the top cover is warped from heat, it may not seal properly and should be replaced.
