Possible Causes

Cracked silicone hose between tank and heater, Loose hose clamp on heater inlet or outlet, Failed O-ring on heater block, Cracked water reservoir or base connection

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker immediately and do not use it while leaking. Water inside the base can contact live electrical parts.

  • Identify leak source: Remove the water reservoir and check for cracks or leaks by filling it over a sink. If it leaks when off the machine, replace the reservoir.
  • Check external joints: Inspect the connection where the tank meets the base for damaged seals or debris preventing a tight fit.
  • Dry the unit: Wipe any visible water from the exterior and allow the machine to dry for at least 24 hours in a warm, ventilated area.

If water is clearly coming from inside the base, internal hoses or seals are compromised. Internal leak repair involves opening the appliance and should be done by a qualified technician.
