Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker and allow it to cool completely before opening any covers or handling internal parts.
- Check water reservoir: Ensure the tank is filled above the MIN line and properly seated. Remove and reinstall it firmly.
- Clean inlet filter: Look at the bottom of the reservoir for a small mesh screen or valve. Rinse it under warm water and gently scrub with a soft brush to remove scale or debris.
- Run a priming cycle: Fill the tank with water only (no coffee). Plug in the machine, then start a brew cycle. If your model has a dedicated cleaning or hot water function, use it to help purge air from the pump.
- Descale the unit: If flow is weak, run a descaling cycle using a T-fal-approved descaler or a 1:1 white vinegar and water solution. Run at least one full cycle, then flush with 2–3 tanks of clean water.
- Inspect hoses (advanced): If accessible without disassembly, check that the silicone hose from the tank to the heater is not kinked or pinched.
If E02 remains after descaling and priming, the vibration pump or internal tubing may be failing and should be inspected or replaced by a qualified technician.
