Possible Causes
Ground coffee compacted in chute, Oily beans causing clumping, Misaligned chute flap, Broken grinder-to-filter transfer mechanism
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before accessing the grinder or chute.
- Empty hopper: Remove beans from the hopper to prevent more from feeding in.
- Access chute: Open any service door or panel that allows access to the grinder chute (see manual). Use a small brush to loosen compacted grounds.
- Tap gently: Gently tap the side of the machine near the chute to help dislodge clumps.
- Use drier beans: Avoid very oily beans that tend to stick and clog the chute.
If grounds still do not reach the filter, the chute flap or internal mechanism may be broken and require replacement.
