• Ensure full closure: Open and firmly close the lid or brew head until it latches securely.
• Inspect gasket: Check the rubber gasket around the lid or brew head for cracks, flattening, or missing sections. Clean it with warm water and mild detergent.
• Clean outlet: Make sure the shower head and filter basket outlet are not blocked, which can increase internal pressure.

If steam continues to escape heavily or the gasket is damaged, replace the lid gasket or brew head seal.
