Brew head is difficult to close or open; feels stiff or jams.

Safety first: Unplug the machine before working on the brew head.

• Clean thoroughly: Remove the T DISC holder and clean the brew head area, hinge, and latch with warm water and a soft cloth.
• Check for obstructions: Look for stray foil pieces, coffee grounds, or plastic fragments around the hinge and latch.
• Operate gently: Open and close the lid several times without a disc to distribute any remaining moisture and check movement.
• Do not force: Forcing the lid can break the latch or hinge. If it remains stiff, internal parts may be warped or broken and require replacement.
