Possible Causes
Stuck float in water tank, Demagnetized or missing float magnet, Faulty reed switch or Hall sensor in base, Damaged wiring from sensor to control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before handling the tank and base area.
- Inspect float: Remove the tank and check that the float moves freely. If it sinks or does not rise when filled, the float assembly may be faulty.
- Clean tank: Soak the tank in warm water with mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly to remove limescale or debris around the float.
- Reseat tank firmly: Place the tank back on the base, ensuring it sits flat and the bottom valve engages fully.
- Test: Plug the machine back in and check if the water icon clears. Gently tap the side of the tank to free any sticking float.
- If still faulty: The internal reed switch or Hall sensor in the base may have failed. This requires disassembly and replacement by a qualified technician.
