Possible Causes
Air in pump, Pump mounting dampers worn, Limescale in pump, Machine placed on resonant surface
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep the machine on a stable, level surface during operation.
- Reposition machine: Place the Tassimo on a solid, non-hollow surface. Avoid metal trays or thin countertops that amplify vibration.
- Bleed air: Run several rinse cycles with a full water tank to purge air from the pump.
- Descale: Perform a descaling cycle to reduce limescale in the pump and lines.
- Check for external vibration: Ensure the cup stand and drip tray are seated properly and not rattling.
- If noise persists or worsens: The pump or its rubber mounts may be worn and should be inspected and replaced by a technician.
