• Clean seal and surfaces: Wipe the rubber seal and mating surfaces with a damp cloth to remove coffee oils and residue.
• Check seal condition: Look for cracks, hardening, or flattening of the gasket. A worn seal will not hold pressure.
• Test again: After cleaning, run a rinse cycle and observe for leaks.
• Replace seal if needed: If steam still escapes, the brew head seal should be replaced. This is usually a simple part swap but may require partial disassembly.
